Bob’s shots of Concorde for British Airways in February 1974 were sent all over the world. He recalls: “We had spent the day flooding the runway to provide a reflection for the sunset. Then that night I went out to see exactly where the sun set so we could get it reflected on the water.”
The resulting iconic pic went viral and was seen on TV commercials, postcards all around the world. It was the first publicity shot depicting Concorde for British Airways.
